The 1st weekend of August, have a lovely family outing at the “Fête de la Renaissance”. For two days and three evenings of festivities, villagers, restaurant owners and volunteers will be in costume.
The public road will be overrun with displays and terraces to bring back to life the atmosphere of the era. The village will be adorned with Renaissance colours and ornament : canvas awnings, standards and masthead flags will dance in the wind. Flag throwers from Forlimpopoli, Italy (twin town), a horse falconry display, a Grand Royal procession, a theatrical show and also a group of Belgians will come to present their court dances and a dozen tambour players will accompany the processions and retinues in a joyful atmosphere.
